All Bodies Don’t Actually Look Like Barbie’s & That’s Okay

I’m all for working out and feeling good about yourself because you just want to. What I am no longer putting up with anymore is this idea that we are supposed to look like Barbie dolls and the celebrities and models we see.

In 2013, the negative body image campaign got way out of hand. And I’m not sure how we evolved to this place where women (young and seasoned) feel worthless because they don’t match what they see in the media. Or where we are constantly depriving ourselves and obsessing over food, and not obsessing over enjoying our lives?

In this week’s podcast, I’ll share with you why working towards that Barbie doll figure is ridiculous.

And, I also hope you’ll join me in the Make 2014 The Year of Loving Your Body Revolution starting Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 7:30 P.M.

After listening to my melodious voice I’d love to hear in the comments how you are going to love your body more this year.
